House Restoration and Painting
Tim repaired and painted the rendering on our fairly large 1960 house in February 2016.
Three previous rendering specialists and painters had looked at the walls and said it would not be possible to do the repairs successfully.
Tim took the job on however and did it extremely well. He diagnosed the cracks that had appeared over some 56 years and set up a logical and expert approach to repairing and painting them. The results of Tim's expertise and sheer hard work are really impressive. What was beforehand a rather tired-looking exterior now has an impeccable surface all over and has been painted to a very high standard. Tim showed throughout a very high level of commitment; when he was on-site, he stayed on site, finishing what he had to do. He is expert and conscientious. His customer focus is first-class. He was always unfailingly punctual and very pleasant to be with during the 10 days that the work required. Other workmen doing other jobs for us commented favourably on how pleasant they found Tim was to work with.
We could not find a better restorer/painter and would recommend him warmly, without hesitation, and with no reservations whatsoever. The house has been transformed.

Tim was very friendly, punctual and very tidy.

Tim Rutland did our exterior decorating in 2015 and we were very impressed. He was prompt, didn’t go off to do other jobs, courteous, clean and took every protection whilst coming through the house.
The job was done ahead of time; we’re delighted with it and would recommend him to anyone looking for good, reliable workmanship. One of the tidiest professionals I have come across and someone who went the extra mile to give the best finishing touch to his work.

Tim was recommended to us to repair the render on our house as it was cracked and in places lifted due to frost damage. This recommendation proved to be well worth it because Tim's work is second to none.

Tim made the repairs to the render, painted the whole exterior and put up new guttering for us.

Tim did a superb job of painting the outside of our home recently.

He was extremely courteous and cooperative, but what impressed me most of all was his meticulous approach to his work and his attention to detail.

I was delighted with the quality of his workmanship, and as a direct result I got him to paint our extensive wooden boundary fencing, which he completed to an equally high standard of finish.
